Completing the course gave me a better sense of identity as a stylist, and I was able to really identify where my strengths and weaknesses were… Having identified and solved what I previously felt were gaps in my styling knowledge, I feel confident and prepared to further my career.

Fashion has always been prevalent in my life. For as long as I can remember being fashion conscious, I have lived for it. When I signed up to the course, I had already been styling and had learned a lot through working in the industry. I did, however, wish to brush up on my knowledge, and really fine-tune my understanding of styling.

I had worked in retail, both in affordable and luxury fashion, so personal styling and attention to detail was always the top of my priorities when styling. One of the areas I felt I could improve upon was my knowledge on body shapes and identification of skin tone palettes – two areas that were covered in great detail in the course.

I have always been a gal-on-the-go and serial workaholic, so being able to complete the course at my own pace was of great benefit to me. Having two years to complete the course gave me peace of mind and left me less stressed, knowing I would still be able to complete it all within the generous time frame provided.

The assignments were fun and there was a lot of useful information throughout the course. Another extremely helpful feature throughout the course was the feedback from the knowledgeable tutor. The feedback I have received was both useful and constructive – I certainly intend to use this knowledge throughout my career.

I believe that this course is perfect for anyone looking to get into the industry, or even just to brush up on your knowledge and pick up on things you might not have come across already. The course also offers a payment plan, alongside their affordable prices, so I never felt stressed about paying the fees.

Completing the course gave me a better sense of identity as a stylist, and I was able to really identify where my strengths and weaknesses were. I found this valuable as sometimes we can get really caught up in the moment of saying yes to every opportunity, without considering one's strengths and aptitudes. Having identified and solved what I previously felt were gaps in my styling knowledge, I feel confident and prepared to further my career.
